The making of

The idea of KABAN had already originated in 2004
and had started with the desire to create an 'outdoors
hall' that would allow our guests to fully enjoy the beautiful and
inspiring nature on our estate. The design however never quite achieved the perfection that we had in mind. This was until the French designer Renaud Morel had presented us his idea for the KABAN. His design was put to practice by the French firm Dans Mon Arbre, which specialises in wooden constructions with a unique appearance. In 2009 the company won the prestigious French prize 'Sett D‘OR' for the 'Le Village Aerien' (= village in the air). The prize is awarded to innovative projects in the tourism sector. With the KABAN the firm has really outdone itself. The interior was designed by De Kliuw from Heeze. It was characterised by the colour white and a minimalist design with a playful reference to the wonderful nature around us. A gathering in this place is an experience that enriches any meeting.
