Vennenhorst nature reserve
Lovely starting point for walks and cycle tours in nature park De Heihorsten and the Strabrechtse Heide. Forests, heaths and fens, of which the Keelven is the largest. You will find different types of grazers such as horses, cows, sheep and Scottish Highlanders. This area is very popular for its many signposted walking and cycling routes. For ATB enthusiasts, there are signposted mountain bike routes and for horse riders, the nature reserve is accessible via the various bridle paths. Of particular note are the specially constructed paved Allemans routes that are passable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
