Sales Manager Meetings & Events (full-time)

As Sales Manager, you are the commercial point of contact for business meetings, events and group requests. You build lasting relationships and help organisations realise their meetings, from strategic board meetings to multi-day conferences or corporate events.

You don't sell standard packages, but think along, ask the right questions and translate objectives into a suitable implementation. This is how you create value for the relationship and long-term partnerships.

You will combine new business with expanding existing accounts. You work closely with account management and the reservations team to smoothly translate requests into successful events. You maintain an overview, monitor opportunities and make sure that clients feel heard and helped.

What will you do?

  • Actively develop new business within the MICE market
  • Expand and manage existing corporate and agency accounts
  • Advising clients on meetings, events and business meetings
  • Translate customer issues into appropriate proposals and concepts
  • Collaborate with account management and booking for optimal execution
  • Spotting market developments and commercial opportunities
  • Thinking along about sales strategy, segmentation and annual plans
  • Building long-term partnerships instead of single bookings

Who are you?

  • Minimum 4 years sales experience within hotel, MICE or events
  • Strong in relationship management and new business
  • You think in solutions, not in standard arrangements
  • Commercial, but always advisory and relationship-oriented
  • Independent, proactive and results-oriented
  • Team player who enjoys working with operations & reservations
  • You get energy from meetings, events and business meetings
