Kapellerput is an independent and sustainable hotel in Heeze. The peaceful estate forms an inspiring place. The creative interiors in the atmospheric hotel excite, are contemporary.

Sustainability is thought through

Being conscious of our environment is in our DNA. Recycling, reducing waste and using less energy are important to us. On our roof are 227 solar panels and solar collectors to heat the water.

We serve Earth water and organic and local produce in restaurant Cambium. In your hotel room, you will find Green Label linen made from organic and fair-trade raw materials and for every hotel room we do not have to clean in between, we plant a tree. We are also enthusiastic about our (h)honest and organic and fair trade tea and coffee and the honey from the bees on our estate.

Since 2009, we have held the Golden Green Key quality mark. In autumn 2023, Kapellerput was named winner of the Gaia Green Award. An appreciation for the most sustainable hotel in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Our peaceful estate

Kapellerput is hidden in the greenery, just outside Heeze. On the vast 25-hectare estate with beautiful deciduous and coniferous forests, heathland and fens, you will experience the peace and quiet of nature.

Whether you come for an inspiring meeting, a relaxing stay or a hotel stay, the natural surroundings contribute to a special experience. The estate is not only an oasis of tranquillity, but also a place full of art and design.

A lovely environment for walking or exploring by bike. There is plenty of space both inside and outside. Relax on the terrace at the edge of the woods, the sun terrace or in a hammock. Play a game of petanque or chess. On the terrace of restaurant Cambium, enjoy the setting sun and surrounding nature while dining.

In every season, the estate offers a different setting: from blooming heather and fresh spring greenery to winter tranquillity. Here you will find space to connect, inspire and recharge. Come and experience it for yourself. Step outside and discover what makes Kapellerput so special.

Attention to art and design

The first Painting "the Chair 1" in 1991 marked the beginning of an inseparable relationship between art, design and Kapellerput. For decades, Sylvia Vrooyink of De Kliuw has been of great value when furnishing any room. With an eye for detail and different from others. Bold and with nature, people, inspiring and connecting as recurring themes. A recognisable line in which design is in function of the guest and employees of Kapellerput. The colourful art makes a valuable and essential contribution to a meaningful experience and the inspiring interior. Be surprised.

Our history

In 2026, the Kapellerput estate will be 70 years old. A lot has changed in those 70 years, but time and again there were inspired people who gave the estate a contemporary purpose. The first users in 1956 were the Jesuit fathers who founded Kapellerput with the aim of holding Catholic retreats.

THIS IS WE
